BOOKS OF THE BIBLE in OUTLINE FORMAT

This page presents books of the New Testament

that have been reviewed by presenting them in an "Outline Format".

My definition and development of an Outline Format is:

  1. Take all the text of a book and disect the verses and present them in a way that enables the reader to see concepts more clearly, to see similarities in verses, and break out the various ideas presented by the writer of the book.

  2. Verses and phrases are highlighted with bolding, underlining, italics, colored text, and colored shading of text.

  3. A Table of Contents is prepared by reviewing the verses again to breakout the concepts being presented by adding headings and subheardings

  4. A Summary of the book is prepared based on a review of the completed Table of Contents.

  5. An overall title for the book is then developed.

The process is tedious, but I enjoy breaking down the verses to be sure I get all that is being conveyed in the verses.

The Outline Format helps me to dig into the details of the verses, some of which contain very long sentences with multiple ideas being presented.  The Outline Format breaks the verses down into small segments allowing for the reader to see all the ideas being presented.

The Books of the Bible are downloaded from BibleGateway.com.  During the review process no words are changed to maintain the integrity of the verses.

You can use these Outlined Version of the Books of the Bible
